Highly skilled and dedicated, Sequoia Hospitalists have a longstanding and close working relationship with individual specialists and hospital departments. Hospitalists are based in the hospital and specialize in all aspects of your care from admission until discharge. To do this, Hospitalists manage and coordinate your entire inpatient experience, working closely with your primary care physician. Since Hospitalists provide care to hospitalized patients, they do not take appointments. Once you are discharged, you will return to the care of your primary care physician.
For patients who require emergency services, Sequoia’s Emergency Department (ED) wait times are among the shortest in the Bay Area. Patients who arrive at the ED are seen by a medical professional for triage in an average of seven to 10 minutes. Sequoia’s ED has a family-oriented approach that takes the extra steps necessary to provide a comfortable and caring environment. Board certified ED physicians work closely with Sequoia Hospitalists, in the event a patient needs to be admitted. Sequoia offers patients fast, easy and accessible emergency care around the clock.
