Diabetes Center at Sequoia Hospital
Please note, during hospital construction, the Diabetes Center has relocated to 2940 Whipple Avenue, Building 2, directly behind the hospital. You may park in the new parking garage or drive behind the hospital, take the second driveway on the right and park in front of 2940 Whipple Avenue.
The Diabetes Center has been serving the community for over 10 years and is one of the most comprehensive centers in Northern California. Our center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and is California Diabetes and Pregnancy Program (CDAPP) certified. The high quality education provided is proudly offered by a team of clinicians, who all hold the credential of Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
Diabetes education is a tradition at Sequoia Hospital. We believe that with the proper education and adherence, anyone with diabetes can live a healthy, full and productive life.
Data from the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial (DCCT), the most comprehensive study ever undertaken in the field of diabetes, confirmed that intensive therapy leading to near normalization of blood glucose levels will reduce your risk for diabetes complications.
