Have you recently had?

• a heart attack;
• angioplasty/stent;
• coronary artery bypass surgery;
• heart transplant;
• valve replacements;
• or other forms of cardiovascular disease?

Our Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation is a medically supervised monitored exercise and education program for cardiac patients recently discharged from the hospital.

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Team
Our cardiac rehab team of registered nurses, physical therapists and an exercise physiologist are here to make you feel more comfortable and knowledgeable about living with heart disease, learning how to reduce risk factors, as well as to help you achieve your greatest quality of life.

What You Can Expect
During each monitored exercise session your heart rate and EKG rhythm, blood pressure, symptoms, and progress towards goals are assessed by the cardiac rehab staff. Adjunct staff, critical in the educational aspects of the program, include pharmacists, clinical dieticians, certified diabetes educators, nurses and chaplains. Your family members are welcome and encouraged to attend the educational sessions.

Benefits of Cardiac Rehabilitation

What Is Required
This monitored program requires a referral from your doctor and is generally covered by your insurance. Please call your doctor for a referral.

Weekly One-Hour Classes - No EKG Monitoring
Many individuals choose to continue exercising in our supervised setting but without continual EKG monitoring. This program is generally not by covered insurance. The one hour classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 7:00 am to 6:30 pm. Please call for information and class availability. Some of our patients have been exercising with us for over 25 years!
