How can I
participate?
Before you enter the
seven-week Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, which meets twice per
week, your doctor's approval is required. For your convenience, we
will be happy to contact your physician for you. We also need to
know the type and extent of your lung disease. We will schedule a
personal interview to assess your condition and plan an
individualized program.
How will my doctor
know of my progress?
Your doctor will be given a report of the classes you have
attended, the exercise level you have achieved and your
individualized home program. In this way, your physician will
continue to be actively involved in your continuing efforts to
improve your health and well-being.
How much will my
insurance cover?
The cost of the
program is substantially covered by Medicare and most private
health insurance plans.
