What insurance does Sequoia Hospital accept?

Where can I find out if my insurance will cover for my medical this medical procedure?
We have Financial Advisors on-site to answer your questions regarding payment or insurance coverage. Please contact them for additional information.  

What time do I have to be there for the surgery?
Generally, patients are expected to arrive two hours before the procedure.  Please check with your doctor's office or the pre-admitting nurse for the check in time. 

Where do I check in for my surgery?
All surgery patients either check in at the Short Stay Unit (SSU) on the second floor or the Admitting office in the main lobby. Your doctor's office or the pre-admitting nurse should give you instruction on the check in location and time. If you are unclear, please stop by the admitting office.

What number do I dial for a patient’s room?
Please call the main hospital line at (650) 369-5811 and ask the operator to transfer the call to the patient's room/bed.

Why do you need my Social Security Number?
Social Security Numbers are used for billing purpose, to prevent medical record duplication and to verify insurance eligibility. Patients have the right to omit their Social Security on their record if asked.

Will I have to pay anything before my procedure?
A co-pay or payment may be due on or before your date of procedure.

Why do you ask for my religious preference?
To help with any spiritual needs that might arise.

Why do you ask my ethnicity?
We are required by the state of California to collect this data. 

How do I get to Sequoia Hospital?
We are happy to provide maps and directions to Sequoia Hospital.
