The Get Well E-mail program
is designed for get well wishes only. Any other types of
communication (e-mail conducting personal business or containing
questionable content) will not be delivered. We will not print
and/or deliver Get Well E-mails if they include attachements or
graphics. Please limit your message to text only.
What is "Get Well
Email"?
Get well email is designed to provide friends and family members
convenient access to patients at Sequoia, by using email to send
get well messages.
Where do I send my
email?
If you would like to send a get well email to a loved one or friend
who is a patient at Sequoia, please address your e-mail to
seqpatientemaildistributors@chw.edu. Please
put "Patient Email" in the subject area, and make sure to
include the patient's name and room number if known in the
body of your email. Please do not include any attachments,
graphics or questionable content in your email. Text only,
please.
When are e-mails
delivered?
Get well emails are delivered throughout the day from
9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., on weekdays. Email received over
the weekend will be delivered the following Monday. Delivery of
email may be delayed during holidays. Email received after the
intended recipient has been discharged will not be delivered.
Can the patient
I'm sending this to send a response by
e-mail?
Get well email is set up only to receive patient email. It cannot
send outgoing replies.
Are the email
messages I send confidential?
All messages received are handled confidentially. Upon receipt,
your mail will be printed, sealed and delivered directly to the
patient's room by our Guest Services staff and volunteers.
