Serving the Community
Community Assessment 2012
We are pleased to deliver the seventh Community Assessment of the San Mateo County Community (full report and all previous reports available at http://www.smhealth.org or http://www.plsinfo.org/healthysmc). The main objective of this report is to gain insight into current conditions and trends of various health indicators and to identify areas for improvement. The data provides a lens through which the overall health and well being of county residents can be assessed. It is our hope that the findings of this report will serve as a planning tool for key stakeholders to make data-driven policy recommendations that can efficiently and effectively meet the needs of county residents as well as inspire new programs that focus on the most critical health care needs of our diverse population.
