Planning Our Future
Sequoia Hospital's decision to rebuild a state-of-the-art facility was made because of its continuing commitment to providing innovative and exceptional health care for the southern San Mateo County community. The announcement of our intention to rebuild Sequoia Hospital has been received with a great deal of enthusiasm from our neighbors and the community we serve.

Catholic Healthcare West and Sequoia Hospital have assembled a team of architects, general contractor, neighbors and community leaders who are working on Sequoia's new medical campus; including a new pavillion, medical office building and parking garage.
The design process continues to involve meeting with neighbors, physicians, nurses, hospital employees, board members, patient advocates and local community leaders to solicit their ideas for rebuilding the Sequoia Hospital campus. To assist us in gathering input from our neighbors, a Task Force of the Community Advisory Council has been established. We will continue to hold public meetings to gather input from our community residents.
