If you prefer a translator while you are a patient at Sequoia Hospital, we are happy to provide translation services at any time you need them. There are several ways that we can provide this service to you, all free of charge:
Every patient room and treatment area is equipped with access to Cyracom Translation Phones. While you are a patient here, we can bring a translation phone to your room. The phone is easy to use and can either be a handheld or speaker- phone. You and your care provider simply talk with each other and a certified medical translator on the phone translates exactly what you say to one another. Cyracom provides medical translation in over 150 languages, at no cost to you and is a quick and effective interpretation service.
Sequoia Hospital also provides limited authorized bilingual translators in some areas. Just ask your nurse or the admitting department to offer you assistance.
